This group was started under the name Blue Max because of the call sign being held longer then any other call sign, the Blue Max Medal and being in contact with the active duty unit with the Blue Max. The group voted and changed the name to the Aerial Rocket Artillery Association at the 2008 reunion. We think this will be a way for ALL of the units to move forward and let EVERYONE to have their own identity and still work as a team for a common goal.

Our Reunions are listed below

2009 will mark the 12th Annual "ARA" gathering.

Plans are under way for the 12th Annual "ARA" reunion which will be 2009 and will be held in Midland, TX. Glenn Brown will be the Air Mission Commander for this reunion.

Here is a list of some of the places your Blue Max ARA Association met and where future gatherings will be held or may be held
Please join the Blue Max ARA Association and help us set up this and another future get together.

1st full ARA reunion, 1998
Ft Rucker, Ozark, AL

2nd reunion, 1999
Ft Eustis, Williamsburg, VA.

3rd ARA reunion, 2000
Melbourne, FL. Plans were set into action to work with the VHPA and VHCMA for future reunions.

4th ARA reunion, 2001
Denver, CO. with the VHPA

5th ARA reunion, 2002
Phoenix, AZ, with the VHCMA

6th ARA Reunion, 2003
Atlanta, GA with the VHCMA

7th ARA Reunion, 2004
was in Indianapolis, IN with the VHCMA

The 8th ARA Reunion, 2005
was held in Tampa, FL with the VHPA Florida Chapter

The 9th ARA Reunion, 2006
was held in Louisville, KY with the 1st Cav

The 10th Annual "ARA" Reunion, 2007
was held in Orlando Florida June 19-24th with the VHCMA

The 11th Annual "ARA" Reunion, 2008
was back at Ft Rucker, with base camp set up in Ozark, AL. May 15-18

Plans for future Reunions will be held as voted on at each reunion and plans will be under way 2 years in advance.
