Most companies put a great deal of effort into their trade show displays, even going as far as hiring businesses that specialize in designing trade show display booths to make sure that their displays are professional. Trade show booth displays can vary greatly in size, cost and complexity, but there does need to be some effort and thought put into the display if it is going to reach the target audience and have the desired effect.

At most trades shows, you will only have a small amount of space to work with, so it is important that your trade show booth display have definite visual “pop” if you want it to stand out from the crowd. Bold images and memorable catch phrases are the rule when designing trade show display booths that people remember long after they leave the show. The trade show booth is the lure that you use to get people over to your display so that you can use your salesmanship and presentation skills to get them to purchase your product.

Trade show displays come in several varieties and considering a few of the different types may help you to make decisions with regards to what type of display will be best for your business. Tabletop displays are the smallest kind of trade show displays and are a great way to get your message across when space is limited. If a company is planning on using a table within their exhibit space, and most companies do, they may want to consider purchasing customized table covers with their business’ name and logo printed on them to take advantage of this excellent branding opportunity.

Pipe and drape systems are the standard units provided by the show organizer to separate exhibit spaces. Several custom pieces can be hung from the drape backdrop to help make the exhibit space your own. Pop-up displays are flexible graphic panels that can be used to display information about your company and the products and services that it offers. Usually these units are very portable and most of them come with their own storage cases for easy transport from show to show.

Modular displays usually take up the entire exhibit space and give you a large canvas with which to paint a picture of your company on. Modular exhibit also have another plus in that they are usually lightweight enough to be easily transported from trade show to trade show without incurring extra shipping costs. Panel and frame systems, on the other hand, while quite durable and sturdy, require a great deal of maintenance and usually have to be set up by a special team at the trade show.

No matter what type of trade show display you choose to use to advertise your company’s products, it is a great idea to take advantage of the opportunities trade shows offer to expand your business.
